Sometimes I think I'm the only one on here who hasn't lowered their S2000. I get nervous enough about ramps, potholes, and road debris at stock height. Why would I want to make that problem worse?
If I lived in a place like FL , flat with no potholes etc it’s possible
Upstate NY - no way.
In the 70’s a good friend of mine, originally from FL wanted to hang driving lights below the bumper on his pride and joy 3 series. I warned him but they did look cool.
They got knocked of in a week

Not sure that I will be home, let alone still alive, by Friday, the 24th. Hauling my 210 pound carcass up a steep mountain can be damaging to my health!

I can buy the tickets and they will be left at the "will call" shack. Other days as well, my discount is 20% off the "advance" ticket price.

Aashish, this doesn't apply to you, as you have been designated as part of the official crew.
Thanks so much for the offer. I'm late with response and now find that travel to LRP that day may not be possible for me.

Looking at getting a second S, but for a project this time. Car needs a new lower end, sounds like it may have a bad rod bearing. Car is a 01 Rio Yellow with 101k. If I get it for the right price is it worth doing or should I pass?

Not sure this is the right place. Try posting in Under the Hood forum.

After years of procrastination, I bought a random orbital polisher and a bunch of polishing pads. Among other chores, I need to try to rehabilitate the paint on the S.

Once you learn how to do it, perhaps you can teach me how to do it too. I've always held off for fear of swirls.

I'm always amazed what Aric can do with the proper equipment.

Headed to the Knapp roadster tour tomorrow. I can remember when I got my S2000 this was like the biggest thing going. Jaguar is the featured brand for this year and Triumph next year.
This is the 70th year of racing at Watkins Glen and I was there for the first race in 1948. My Mom was 7 months pregnant with me and she watched the race from the four corners downtown. Guess the place is in my blood!!
