Car got an alignment and a bath yesterday. I promised myself I was going to drive it more this year - actually took it out in the rain today. Realized a block from my house that the wipers on the car are 10 plus years old. Her first time in the rain since who knows when.

Janet bought this 2016 Chrystal White Pearl MX-5 GT back in January. It had 2600 miles and a Mazda certified warranty for $20180 on a car that window stickered for over $32000.
She has been driving it since March. We both love it, and now I get more seat time in our S2K. Please notice I say "our" S2K. She still drives the S on weekends as well. I'm liking her new car so much that even my Supercharged Civic seems too big to me now. The back to back comparison driving the S, the Civic, and the MX-5 is entertaining.
The Civic feels powerful and heavy (it's a sedan),
The S feels so well balanced, composed and just fun with the top down (As we all know).
Janet's MX-5 feels light, soft and quick enough to also be fun, but the soft suspension drives me nuts. She has the GT so it is too soft for my taste. It rolls in corners, has too much squat and lift on accelerating and braking. I've already ordered Bilstein shocks, Eibach Springs and I'll probably put bigger sway bars on it if Janet will let me, if not the Civic might have to become an MX-5 Club.

Hey Gordy - don’t make the ND into something that will have a harsh ride. Don’t know about Binghamton, but the roads here in Albany are a mess of potholes everywhere. I’d keep the softer suspension. You have the S2000 for the firmer ride after all.

Man, the nice weather has them all out today! I hardly ever see S2000s around this area, for some reason. But I just went for a nice ride along the lake, and saw two while I was out. Spotted a red one after it passed me in the other direction on the 198, and followed a modded Silverstone down the 190 for a few miles. Beautiful day for it!

I’m moving and the cat is out of the bag. As fate would have it, there was an s2000 sitting in the garage of the house we bought, not even kidding. When I opened the garage door and saw it I just laughted and called to my wife. I’m going to try to get one last mod day in here while I’ve still got the lift before I move. Probably mid -late June I would guess, it should take us 6-8 weeks to close. If anyone wants a badass garage with a house let me know, House will be listed shortly, spend all weekend cleaning and moving stuff.
