Speaking of news, the good Dr. B. made noises last weekend about borrowing the S for 3 or 4 weeks during the height of the summer driving season. I scoffed at the idea.
You will remember that last year she borrowed the car, parked under a pine tree and returned the vehicle all sticky and dirty. I informed her that the S2000 internet community's consensus was that she was not worthy. As such, I hope to have the Volvo PV444 ready for her when her need arises. Of course, I will have pity on those patients in Glens Falls Hospital who will be eagerly / desperately waiting for her arrival while she is broken down somewhere south on I-87.
So early yesterday morning JJ and I became parents for the first time when we welcomed our baby daughter into this world. Meet Antara, and I’m holding out hope she’ll take to driving the S2000 someday like a fish to water. Both the mom and baby are doing well and should be home over the weekend
