Brr! I really should start on storage prep mid-October and get the cars in to storage by November 1st. It was warmer when the S2000 was put away last week. I did the BRZ today. Swapped out the wheels with the RS4s on them and cleaned the brake dust and rubber clag off the wheels before storing them. Then it was time to quickly detail the BRZ and then put it into storage. Filled up the gas tank, poured Stabil in and drove it around for a few miles before parking it. Noted the mileage and I learned that I put exactly 5000 miles on that car this season when compared to the mileage on it last November when it was stored. No sooner did I park the car, than it started to rain. The strong breeze we had all morning made it feel much colder and I am glad to finally be done with car storage.

Oh! And the roads here got salted overnight. Woke up to a thin coat of snow on the grass and they probably salted in order to avoid black ice. Glad I was able to complete storing both cars.

In other news, the automobile justice movement, Black-Cars-Matter, has been less than useless. I accidentally lent my black S2000 to a female doctor person with the warning not to park near any pine trees. That warning, apparently, went out the other ear. Not only was the car dirty upon its untimely return, but it was also covered in pine sap. Months of complaint followed: No investigation, no inspection, no relief of any kind. One of the movement's officials - an Asian fellow from India - gently chided the offending physician on social media. I complained that an American movement shouldn't be moving its operations offshore! "Just get over it!" I was told.
So much for the automotive justice movement. I was so depressed that I sprinkled peanuts and walnuts all around and inside the car and parked it for the winter.
