Well, the "cheap" Girardi supplied skill saw wasn't up to the latest weekend project, so I was off to Lowes in Plattsburg to buy myself a Dewalt "father's day present". I must have been in some sort of reverie, because I missed the exit off the Northway - and when I saw the sign for Dannemora, I wondered how Levi might be doing. I'm not sure he ever actually worked at Dannemora, but I remember that he always had to get up early in the morning to give us the 5:00 a.m. weather report. It always seemed to be bitter and cold.

Justy thinking about it makes me want to sleep in!

 

Jeff, I live just off exit 36....maybe 1/4 mile. While you were at Lowes I was probably next door in Runnings.....I really like that place. You got a great memory as I worked the 6-2 shift and was up by 4:30 every day. I don't miss that daily ride in the winter that's for sure.

I still have the NFR S2000 Hot Wheels that Jeremy gave us on one of the drives years ago.

 

Me too Bob. My first S2000 was an auto art version that Jeremy gave me. He’s a real kind person.

 

My friend just sent me an ad from Facebook marketplace of a 91 NSX listing looks like it may be in Mowhawk’s showroom? Looks like a nice example.

 

I didn’t see an NSX there on the floor when I was there. Maybe they put it there after. Could be the owners car being sold.
