Sounds like spring is coming early

My wife and I are expecting to be in NYS in the spring. Hopefully everything goes smoothly unlike last year. An invasion by mice plus the contracted stump removal and shrub planting didn't happen. Those two things took up a lot of our time. It would be nice to meet with some members this year.

yup, we do those all the time. I typically have a spare flywheel or 2 in stock already resurfaced to speed up the job.

I just replaced the tires so I know it's not that.

bad wheel bearing? Your thoughts...
driver side or passenger side? Most likely pitted axle cup. They can be swapped and regressed.

Feels like drivers side.

Is that something I can do myself? What would be involved?

Remove inner CV cups, remove old grease, re-grease and re-assemble using the same axle bands. Not a hard job, i'll find a DIY on here and link it. You can do it with the axles still in the car but i prefer to remove them and do it on a bench. I use redline CV-2 grease

I wanted to watch the game, but the snacks ran out just before halftime - Today, I file a complaint with management!

How to swap CV Cups on a Honda S2000 (youtube.com)
The video doesnt really show how to get the cups off, are they easily accessible once you have the car up on jack stands?

once you remove the bands on the rubber boot they will pull apart. You can see them/have access when the car is on jack stands.
