I've always told you young guys "whatever you do, don't get rid of the S. In the end you'll regret it." (I feel that way about "The Shirt").
But sometimes life gets in the way. Aashish has been making noises about me buying his car; and my daughter has been making noises of wanting my car. We sort of struck a 3 way deal. When Aashish comes to his senses, my hope is that he will take back the heap. I'm more of a 1950s guy - and anyway, I don't have the garage space!

Sad day
I know A2 loved that car, it held a special place in his life, so I know how it feels when its gone.
For me that day was in June 2018 when I plowed into the wall at LRP.
When I listen to my in car video , I clearly say "so this is how it ends".
That car brought me a lot of joy and fun times but I (and many others-Jake) put a lot of long, hard hours into keeping it on track.
Having a second s2000 made it a little easier at that time, I was sure I would rebuild it and get back on track.
So i did find that I had a lot of free time to street drive my second car but every time I drive the car I think about parting ways with it.
My neck does not do well with the harsh ride and I rarely drive it hard enough to get the VTEC to engage.
One of these days I will be waving goodbye to the car just as A2 did and it will be a bitter sweet end to another chapter of my life.

It’s all good. Thanks to the car, I met some real nice people who still continue to be friends. I won’t ever own anything like it again but if the stars align, I could own it again too. Everyone that seems to sell these cars ends up with major regret.
but it’s the people and memories. Those matter more to me than some materials things.
