Haha, good luck.

on the plus side your mayor seems to be a car person.

So I did go back yesterday, orthopedist checked and it's definitely a torn achilles.

But...he was much more concerned about the swelling so he sent me to have a vein ultrasound...

I have a blood clot in my leg on top of the torn achilles.

So now I'm on blood thinners and get re-evaluated in 2 weeks.

Oh wow, that was quite the price you paid for a game. I’m sure it’ll clear up. Be well Mark.

Drove the S to work today for the first time in who-knows-how-long. Still haven't had a good chance to test the grip on the new Falken tires. Took a corner a bit quickly this morning and the rear end felt a bit squirrelly, but I don't even know if I've driven the car enough yet to get the tires properly broken in.

Perfect morning for the top down though. Decent temps, low humidity...and I still saw other convertibles with their tops up.

I think it takes about 50-100 miles before the release compound on the tires wears off. Tread with caution though when you’re having fun.

I was married 50 years ago today.

Drove off in a ‘72 Datsun 510 - red 4 door.

Never able to get all of the confetti out of that car!

Just wait till the rust eats out the Datsun and the floor falls out. Easy confetti cleanup that way!

I really need to get the S2000 out of storage!

Will it happen anytime soon? I doubt it.
