ITS revealed. Really liking the more aggressive look (especially on the front hood) compared to the extremely bland FL5. I'm a fan of the Tiger Eye Pearl on the TLX-S and it looks like that transferred over here as well.

Still waiting to see what pricing will be. I have to assume it will slot somewhere between the CTR and the TLX-S. If the price it right, I might be tempted to sell the FK8 for one.

Love that color Marc and it looks really nice.

Mark - don’t think the S2000 comes standard with footwell lights.

Yeah, but the ITS comes with a mode that'll add bangs and pops to the exhaust! The inner boy racer in me likes that idea.

The sound of my FK8 is...well, there is no beating around the bush. It is awful. That's why I added the amp + sub to drown out the horrible exhaust note.

Maybe next year I'll add an intake for better sound, along with a Hondata tune. Or maybe I'll be behind the wheel of an ITS. Or something else. Who knows.

Hey Aashish, was it the Falken RT660 that you said was a bit overwidth for its size? I'm looking to order from Tire Rack since the pricing is excellent on these, but if they are a bit oversized I want to make sure a 215/245 will fit on my stock wheels.

Yes the RT660 is the meaty tire. Go with the standard S2000 size just to be safe.

Marc - the Bridgestone RE71RS also has a pretty good discount and at about $150ish more than the RT660 (after instant rebate) is the grippier tire. I have a set for the Si and on a hot day without even pushing it to the max, I was able to beat my time on the RT660s by a second at Thompson Speedway. The RT660 follows the tread pattern of the old Bridgestone RE71R and gets grippier as it wears down. But it doesn't quite have the ultimate grip of the RE71RS. On track it makes enough of a difference that justifies the purchase. Both tires are decent in the rain too with the Bridgestone a tad superior. Just offering up one more option as you consider which tire to get.

I bought a set of Falken RT615K Plus last season for the S2000 and they are good. Kinda like the Hankook RS4. Won't have the peak grip of the Falken or the Bridgestone though.

Yeah, no to Bridgestone in general. I had a set of the old RE01R tires on the S about 13 years ago, travelling down the highway at 75 when the tread separated from the sidewall. I managed to get the car safely over to the side of the road, but it chewed up the wheel a bit.

Two weeks later the same thing happened to NH Mark as well. I'm pretty sure it was a manufacturing defect, so I stay away from Bridgestone nowadays.

Yup no bridgestones for me! I put Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric on it last time, they were ok but not being a summer tire (all season) they weren't as grippy as my Dunlops, which I will probably get again when it's time to do tires again.
