I know we have posts like this from time-to-time about new engine technologies (and none of them ever seem to pan out), but I thought I'd share this anyway:

I see no reason why you would get the yellow plate
As you have a vanity plate you will just get that back
Your old plate in blue and white
Maybe I'm wrong, but I find it hard to believe NYS would take the initiative to make a new vanity plate not even knowing if someone is coming back for it
And believe me, this plate would almost disappear on Rio

I bet it'll look great, and they'll probably change me over to the yellow plates when the registration renewal is due (whenever that is).

Went to Hogan's (Foulone) for lunch.
He told me his SRS light's been on since we put the top on his car...

Reset the light, and it came right back on.
Took out the spare and the cover and found that the drivers side belt retractor wasn't plugged in. Argh....
Hogan climbed in the trunk moving spritely like a ring tailed lemur, but couldn't get it.
I went at it with the blind lobster claws technique... success.
Reset. No codes...
Mudslides !!!!

When I got the registration renewal for the VFR it went like this

CHECK BOX - $17.50 - keep existing white with blue plate
CHECK BOX - $47.50 - get new yellow with dark blue plate

I wrote the check for $17.50
We'll see how long I keep getting a choice
