Playing with the Porsche, putting on exhaust, fixing radiator...
Made a slight error on the S2K, and put a micro-crack in the custom roll hoop covers I made.
I took it all apart, fixed.
Job sucks.
Figured I do it now before driving season ever starts...

Well, the 599 in NC is a no-go.
Big thanks go out to Saki GT for looking at it for me. He said it had been laid down and none of the cosmetic damage had been fixed, so who knows how well the rest of the bike had been taken care of.
So the search for a relatively low-mileage unmodded yellow '04 599 continues...

Hmmmm, found one in Utica, but the price is higher than I want to pay and it is modded a lot more than I want.
Wonder if I could get him down to my asking price if he removed a bunch of the mods?

And Utica is a heckuva lot closer than North Carolina. Might be worth a trip this weekend.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the handlebars, but I realized that the exhaust is the exact one I'd put on the bike.
I can afford the bike for what he is asking, I'd just have no money left over for a few important things....like riding gear, a helmet, the riding course, but who needs any of that?

Did you read, and are you following my suggestion?
You have got to copy and save all these ads.
You need to document the bikes and their condition, and mileage, and asking price for future reference
Fantastic to hear how the S2KI community works together
I'm so touched I'm sending Saki GT a PM
Keep your chin up Marc
And remember, no, more than that, make these words your montra - everything works out for the best

Marc - glad to hear you are getting close to getting a motorcyle. Good luck
Ellen - lest you me again, check out the home page. Be warned, it could make you cry. I felt a little emotional towards the end as the bagpipes were playing.
