Ok, so I got my tax return all squared away. I got in on the 1st time home buyer tax credit, so I am going to dump a little into the S.
I already have the Comptech header sitting in my garage, I'm thinking now is the time to add a Berk hi-flow cat into the mix as well

I was sleeping in the guest bedroom.
I had no idea I was torturing my guests with that inflatable bed in there. You need massive amounts of blankets to stay warm on that thing.

I had one of those for inflatable mattresses for awhile in my early 20s. And then I got cats... you can guess the rest 
My computer hard drive is officially dead and data done for. My friend Brian looked at and did all the tricks he knew (including Marc's suggestion of hooking to another machine for boot) all to no avail.
I shipped to a data recover specialist shop in NYC and they just sent me diag... there is a small part on the hard drive that is broken and would require replacement before they even know if recovery is possible...
their estimate for this magic? $1500. Might as well be $15,000
RIP little hard drive, good bye 11 years of emails 
and all my high res digital photos since 2005. I am really thankful at this point that I have so many photos saved on my s2k web sites, and have had prints made of my favorites... those could always be scanned back into digital format.
