My old custom plates are hanging on the garage walls as well.

Wasn't I supposed to turn those back in?

My plates are kept together and bolted in the same spot. One in front of the other, front plate/rear plate
I learned a long time ago if there was no place for a plate on the front to keep them together. One year one was not to be found but turned up the next spring in the boot.

I was wondering about that. My registration runs out this fall and I don't plan to renew the vanity plates. I was hoping I could keep them. How do I go about doing it? When I take the insurance off, I have to turn the plates in. What happens if I let the registration expire?

My "spare" plate lives in the nice pocket behind the driver's seat. I think that's why Honda put it there
