Thanks Jeff, And I would love to go, but I'm just totally overwhelmed right now
The rain, the cold, the wind I'm a full month behind and it's daunting
Especially when now I see the forecast changing so Saturday too might become a rain event

I have a pair of pipes set into the ground that I put poles in for a volleyball set up. Looked in the pipes over the weekend and the water was within 2" of the surface. It has rained for 3 more days since then.

(warning, rant ahead)
Kids these days.
I'm in the process of hiring about 6-9 new student assistants. Partially to fill some gaps from those who have graduated, partially to work on some new upcoming projects we have.
I make my job posting, and in it I always put down as a job REQUIREMENT (not optional) that you must possess a valid NY Driver's License (mainly for driving the state vehicles between campuses). Fully half of the students either don't read this or don't think that it is important and apply anyway. *facepalm*
What I do to weed them out is send out a questionnaire, with questions like "Do you have a NY Driver's License?", and "Are you going away for summer break?". That weeds out about half of them right there. *facepalm again*
Then, with the handful I have left, I then set up interviews with them. I email them dates, times, and the location for the interview. I chit you not, I had TWO of them yesterday email me back asking where the interview was going to be. I told them to look back at my previous message and read it again. Then, one of them emails me this morning asking WHERE the building is. Not like we don't have campus maps all over the school website or anything. I wonder how this one even finds his classes every semester? *facepalm yet again*
Stuff like this gives me little hope for the future. What happened to basic reading comprehension and looking up information? At least google made the second part of that easy.

This has to be something lke my 18th year at Ontario Honda, and I could not be happier
the mounting and balencing they just did on the new wheels is awesome
My mechanic took just about the very lowest setting possible on the Hunter machine for road force
Not only is the balance right on, but the road force is super low, the car has never felt so smooth
And, when the huge LT Series tires were put onto the Frontier last fall, it was the very 1st time I have ever had truck tires mounted in such a way that I was happy with them, the 1st time and did not have to go back and have the balancing attempted for a 2nd or 3rd time
My dealer is great, not a stealership at all, and performs excellent work
The warranty was up on my CRX-Si 18-years ago, and the only place I would take it for service is Ontario Honda
I suspect I'm just very, very lucky I found such a great place and have such a great mechanic

Ok, all this talk about recent drives, well here is a pic
The very 1st Upstate S2000 Drive I ever organized, back in 2002
And guess what, me and Skip are the only ones left...
I have seen lots of great people come, and go, it happens
It's great when they come, and it's sad when they go

On another note, Honda has been paying tribute to its fans. A guy named Chris, cut his lawn into the Honda logo shape, so Honda had his name cut in the grass in front of their offices. Another guy got a Honda tattoo, so a VP at Honda got an airbrush tattoo of the guy. Just now I saw that a lady had the Honda logo painted on her toe nails, and in response a female employee at Honda had the lady's name painted on her toe nails.
I have an idea for a pic you can share with Honda on their Facebook page
I'm thinking of a custom window sticker for the CRX-Si
You know the kind that goes all the across the top of the windshield
Here is what it would say, perfect for my CRX-Si and their Facebook page
HONDA LOST THEIR MOJO
Perfection
