Friday. The PA 500 to Penn State. This one will be punctuated by 30,000 students all trying to leave on a two lane road at the same time. BTW, the two lane road is down to one with construction...
After I get her home and unpack my truck, I jump in the S2k and head the 3 1/2 hrs to Clifton Park. The beer will taste good when I get there...

I had to send out this email this morning...
I don't understand what the hell is going on.
Two years in a row now while my car is in storage, no battery and no mice
When I drop the battery back in and go for a drive the redline warning beeper that had worked perfectly in the fall, is now malfunctioning
Very, very, very frustrating
Last year Bob just replaced my unit, I bet he does not do that again
this just sucks

Don't you have to do a down and back later this week to PA?

I swear, it's freeking insane...
Next time I can get the car out, I'll pull that dash panel off again, for the 2,000th time, wiggle all the wired to make sure they are connected well, will check the fuse again, and will cross my fingers, it's just so damn frustrating

This will most likely be my last trip to Happy Valley for some time as she has transfered to Cornell into a prelaw program.
In some ways, I'll miss PSU, but it will be nice to have her around here...

1.500 miles round trip to Fayetteville, NC and back.
Yesterday was a 12hr day in the truck. It gets harder every time. How do those bluehairs do that Florida trip all the time? Is the secret to long travel to just do it like them and go 55 in the left lane all day in my caddy?

My parents used to travel in the motorhome, all over
Whenever they got tired or needed a rest before they got where they were going, they just found a Walmart
They camped overnight many a times right there in a Walmart parking lot

Thank you Jeff, I really guffawed
You are a very good man and you have great kids. Happy for you Jeff. Congratulations to Donna and you and Brigette (hope I spelled her name right) on her getting into Cornell
