Yet for some of us, it remains the optimal solution when combined with practicality and sportiness.

The 1st gen TSX is what the US market Accord should have been. Not the current behemoth.

CRX fans all must have patience, they did at least build the base model of the car we want.

two very different sports IMO. FTR I believe rally drivers are inherently more capable than road course drivers.

However one sport is based on Time, speed and distance. The other entirely focused on speed and distance covered. And not all rally cars will take to a road course very well as their suspension may be different. Would I be correct in assuming so?

Oh I wasn't saying the CR-Z is bad, I just wanted to try the econ and normal modes to see if they really are worthless.

I suspect I'll try them each for 30 seconds, then kick the thing over into sport.

You are right, for sure
We Rex fans have seen more rumors come and go about the next CRX
What we have now in the CR-Z is indeed very close to what we want
And I can tell ya this, there are lots of them out there getting K20 transplants
