The first time I took my car to a track day (this was my driver's school and my initial test drive), the car was overheating, spewing oil from 3 major leaks and misfiring pretty badly. Overheating fixed easily, spewing oil a major embarassment and the misfire a mystery. After what seemed like months on my back under the car, most of the oil leaks are resolved. I fixed the misfire accidentally when I adjusted the valve lash mid season. Suffice it to say, my lack of talent was exagerated by my mechanical issues.
Sounds like you are in good shape for this season.
I'll know a week from Friday.

I'm mostly worried about the sound police. I bit the bullet this morning and ordered a 10" supertrap. If I have to use it, my car will look like it has a reproductive organ hanging out the side. I'm finishing up some other power robbing exhaust system modifications and if I can get by without the Supertrap, I can return it and only be out the shipping costs.

Got my all season weathertech mats - $55 plus shipping for fronts only. Passenger side fits great, driver's side - eh - not so much. It's not long enough to cover all the floor up to the pedals unless you leave a big gap in the back towards the seat. I'm not sure I am going to keep them... for the money, I really expected GREAT coverage, not gaps of carpet showing.

Do you have pics of the mats in the car?

If you needs mats check out Husky brand as well
I have always found their designs to be better, full dead pedal coverage and less money than Weather Tech

Wish I could find a good fitted set of rubber mats for the Outback. All I can find is generic fit. I'm tired of the mess I have to clean up every spring. I spent over an hour with a bucket of water and a stiff bristle brush desolving and breaking up the salt stuck in the carpets. Of course, I ended up with salt water soaked carpets.

I don't think your car will have an issue with the sound police. The cars on Saturday were louder and this club also has the lowest decibel limit of all groups (87 db).

With the rain we've been having, I have an area 160' x 100' in the front yard that is under water right now. Based on previous years like this, it will be well in to June before it dries up enough to cut it.

Nice and warm today.
Fired up the AC to make sure I didn't screw something up and made a leak when I put in the retractor license plate.
Really nice out...
