It get's really frustrating for me, I drive the truck every day almost and I struggle to make those perfect shift
I get into the CRX-Si after not driving it for 5-months and within the first 3-minutes I'm performing the most glorious shifts
And yes, you are right, big boots do indeed complicate the issue, especially big muddy boots

I find I have to think a split second ahead with the DBW. I tend to mash the gas a bit more in the Frontier - partly because it won't rev as freely and quickly as the S, partially because you do have that slight hesitation with the DBW.

And probably partly because I still have that WOT restriction still on there

Interesting, maybe that's complicating my situation
I typically get way too many revs for my blip
And then when I try to not blip so hard, I get very little rev increase
It's like I get way too little or way too much for the amount I'm touching the pedal
Most often it is way, way too much, and then the actual shift is delayed by a lot, making the whole exercise pointless

The Scion FR-S concept car sports coupe will inspire a new model to be sold next year. FR-S stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport.

I hate to say I like the looks of a Toyota, but in this case, I do

2012 Hyundai Veloster three-door coupe makes its world debut in New York. The company claims it will have better highway fuel efficiency than Honda CR-Z Hybrid.

I so wish I was at the show, that color is awesome!

I look at high fuel prices with mixed feelings.

PROS
1) I have a short commute, I don't care if fuel prices skyrocket
2) Fewer jackholes on the road

CONS
1) Shipping prices increase
2) Jackholes who bought monster SUVs suddenly feel the urge to conserve fuel and accelerate away from stoplights slower than grannies on walkers
