Gordy - if you're springing for a set of 4 new tires all around, you may want to think about moving up to 255s in the rear.
The stock wheels can handle the 255s fine with no rubbing.

Depending on the mileage, $14.5k seems high for an 02.
Probably why it hasn't sold.

I know what you are saying, and yes that might be the book, but that DOES NOT tell the whole story
My '90 CRX-Si has a book value of something in the $3k range, but should I want to sell it, I could get twice that amount
When a car is no longer in production, AP1, has been cared for very well, and most importantly the buyer is looking for something special and is willing to pay, the price being asked for that NFR may be right in line
If the seller is not in a rush, I suspect in time he will find a buyer more than happy to pay that price

Janet and I are taking our two boys to Europe in late June and I'm trying to build a good war chest in the savings account to be able to eat!
The Europe vacation budget is $10K and I've ripped through about $6K already with Air travel and for four at $3650 just to get from JFK to London.
Three days in each: London - Paris - Venice - Rome
I'm definitely going with 255's in the rear next year.

I don't know then if it would be a good idea to get some sticky hi-perf tires for the front and keep the all seasons on the rear. I'd tend to think you'd get some crazy oversteer.
But those who are much more knowledgeable can probably tell you better than I would ever be able to.

Good point. I've seen the VSA light come on with these tires more than i'd like.

DO NOT MIX TIRES ON THIS CAR
If you are going to replace the fronts only, you have to put an equally hard non-performance tire back on the front
If you put performance tires on the front, along with the hard rubber yu have now on the back, your S2000 is going to be on the unsafe side because of dramatic and sudden tendencies to oversteer
If you do not want to spend the money just buy the 2 new Coopers for the front and drive the car that way for 1 year, then replace all 4

Need your input, whats a good amount to donate to charity on behalf of someone that has passed away? A co-workers brother passed away. He and I are pretty close and I wanted to make a donation. Just not sure how much is a good figure. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably look for some slightly used coopers from a reputable dealer until next year and replace all four during the winter. I've bought a few used tires to replace punctured tires in the past, with good luck so far. I prefer to run sets of four with even wear, whenever possible.
