I think I'm gonna wait for the photos to be posted of this, rather than watch it live

Aashish, we get 5 years unlimited km plus 10 year rust. Dieseli would be nice but is more than we can spend. "Comfort" is the trim we are getting. The 1.6 has this blue drive feature where the engine shuts down in netural with the clutch out at , i think, 2km or below. Push in the clutch and the engine is running again. Plus this only happens when the engine is not needed for things like heat etc. Helps the city numbers, 7.1/100km. Highway is 5,3l/100km which is better than the Elantra (2,0 manual) we looked at in Albany. The alternator does some special stuff too. Working more when braking or decel, less during accl.

I was reading somewhere that the reason more US car don't have the engine stop technology is because of the expense involved. But it is expected to be more widely available in the future.

It looks like a good option for sure. But seeing how you keep cars for a really long time, did the Hyundai strike you as staying with you as long as you kept your Sunny? I expect it will be largely driven by your wife, so the most important question - is she happy with it?

Yeah she is happy. She has always liked red cars but she chose black. There were two reds offered, one to bright (daughter wanted this one)and one just the wrong shade. The women settled on black. Delivery is next month. I expect we will keep it for at least 10 years. I'm still considering an export from here next year because i can take advantage of tax free import at home. Just not sure what auto.
Was looking at the "hot hatch" thread. Interesting the Fiat. On Veho I noticed, while looking at 5dr focus, the 3dr wiht the large engine is no longer listed. Not sure what happened to them, mabye they are all sold.

i wasn't a fan of the gold wheels either until i saw them honestly. they are so bright they really make the rest of the car pop.

i'm more a fan of nickle or tungsten like colors... but these are good

bet you couldn't guess they are 18" from those pics! hehe
