Have fun Gilly!!!
I drove the Fit and I liked it alot! Way more comfortable than the Civic and handled really well.
Now it's just a matter of finding the one I want... I could live with the one I drove today, price was definitely right, but it had some issues: small dent on the left rear door, the front lip was all scuffed up, 74,000 miles, and the windows were tinted.
I did find the exact color I wanted in West New York, NJ - waiting to hear back if it's available
The hatch area and folding rear seats are just as cool as I have read - 40 cubic feet of storage - just a tad more than the S

Looking to trade in the Civic. Only option really. The dealer yesterday insulted me - offered $13,500 for my Civic trade in - KBB says in good condition = $15,600 trade or $16,500 for excellent. With less than 5K miles and an hour detail it falls on the high range of those numbers.
Going to be up near Albany today looking at a Tidewater Blue (closest to Suzuka they make). It's the only auto sport in that color within 200 miles. Price is a little high but I never plan to pay what they post online
If they can work with the trade in value I need to get, and I am approved for yet another Honda loan, I may drive it home tonight
If not, the longer I wait the better off things will be - my Civic will have a lower pay off value, and used Fits will only depreciate. And maybe the lady here in MIddletown with the car I want will trade hers in I'm going to chase her down next time I see her

Im guessing dealer tried that because the new Civics have arrived. However there is bound to be a shortage for a while until things get back on track in Japan.
Where in Albany are you going? and when?

Just did my first stippled ceiling repair. Not as hard as I thought it would be. Getting the pattern down was the easy part. I had a little trouble with the existing stippling, as it wanted to lift as I applied the new stuff.
Now for more sanding, some cleanup, then it'll be ready for paint!
