I've read reports where sources have said the new Subie will be a RWD hatchback.
I personally think its a good idea as long as it is a better value and offers a lot more than the Toyota/Scion version.
As far as the Nissan stunt goes, I'm with Marc on that. I'm not an advertising pro but have experience of working with ad agency staff.
Ambush marketing/guerilla marketing is a nice tactic. But personally I'd be disgusted to see something like that on my car.

SCOOP: European Hyundai Veloster Coupe Shows its Face, will get 1.6-liter Turbo with 208HP
Let's look at these 2 engines
2008 MINI John Cooper Works
1.6 I4 Turbo
208 hp at 6000 RPM
193 lb·ft of torque
2011 HONDA Civic Si
2.4 I4 Normally aspirated
200 to 210-hp
139 lb-ft to 172 lb-ft of torque
Normally I would never think Honda + Turbo, but, since they brought out the Acura RDX with a turbo I have to wonder why they are not doing more of them
Honda claims they went with the bigger 2.4 up from the existing 2.0 because it was so important for them to bring up the torque. Seems to me even the little 1.6 turbo has more torque. Good grief, Honda had such huge news over a whopping 8 ft-lbs with the AP2 revision, and here, at the very least the MINI turbo has 21 more ft-lbs, now that is a difference

BYD F3DM Review
In case you are wondering what that is. It is a review of BYD's hybrid. BYD (Build Your Dreams) is a Chinese company with plans to sell cars here. Warren Buffett has invested in them so they do seem like they are here to compete in all seriousness.

WHAT???
Why did they knock back to a SOHC???
My 20-year old CRX-Si has 16vales, all coming off a single overhead, but that's 20-years old
So, when is Honda releasing their pushrod configuration?

Ellen,
Try taking the HDD out of your old computer and connect it directly to your current machine. It may be that the boot sector is fried on it, and if you boot into an OS using a different HDD, your files may be (mostly) recoverable.
I've done this many times before.
