I hear ya!!!
I just watched the last 30 laps or so, I knew that would be all I could handle

One thing for sure, as much as I despise this type of so called racing, I am once again blown away by NASCAR and their improvements to broadcasting a race
When I saw the thermal imaging stills and their analysis of them, I was just amazed, jaw dropped, in awe
F'ing F1 can't even do HD, and yet NASCAR can do thermal imaging.....

Please wake me up when the daffodils sprout.

Not completely true. Rotors and calipers are the same.
Thank you Doug I got dibs on Charlie's rotors!

Some good news with the new computer, some bad.

I was finally able to restore from backup on the files I had been saving, BUT, emails and photos were NOT part of my backup

So, after having more than 10 years worth of emails intact ported from machine after machine, they are kaput.

Only chance is if the old hard drive comes back into it "one more time"... which is doubtful.

I've tried alternating heat and cold (as I read online sometimes help to revive a hard drive) but nothing seems to work...

the old machine has been trying to boot up for about 2 hours now. All of a sudden I find myself very religious

Ellen - Congratulations! on the new laptop. Sorry it had to come under such tough circumstances. But I hope you are back up and running. Did you buy a PC?
Ha! Not on your life My hope was to be able to simply import all my old stuff, but it looks like that ain't gonna happen as far as emails.

My backups did protect my most important file of logins, and all my web files and graphics...

So at the moment I have no software to write code - other than text edit and nothing to create graphics.

I no longer have the disk to reinstall photoshop... not sure what I will use for a replacement. I certainly can't afford to buy a replacement version.

Keep praying for my old hard drive... after 2.5 hours it switched from gray bootup screen to blue screen - which it usually shows just before loading the operating system...

this happened after the cat used it as a step ladder Should have thought of that fix sooner

And for what it is worth
I stopped buying OEM rotors long, long ago
Centric Premium is what I now run
There are other non OEM options out there for some things
Pads though, I still run OEM, they are a nice mix between performance, noise, and dust

FRONT- outside/inside

BACK- outside/inside
