Got a new laptop. Can't access my backed up files at the moment though which means the new computer is pretty much worthless. I am ready to (can't find an icon for shooting yourself).

Ellen - Congratulations! on the new laptop. Sorry it had to come under such tough circumstances. But I hope you are back up and running. Did you buy a PC?

Back from Levi Country.
Sorry Aashish, I was long gone when you posted the drinks invite. 6 Pages since I left. I'll have to study up on what Gilly is up to!
Levi arranged for the big chill to return, but I arranged with my "contacts" in Essex County to turn on my heat, so the camp was 55 degrees when we arrived. No more snow than in Connecticut. Still, while out on the middle of Lincoln Pond, I steppred through the ice X3 where it had melted in that balmy 55 degree weather Levi had reported. That was a bit disconcerting. My shoes and pants were pretty frozen when I got back to camp.
Molly and I were going to climb Whiteface and Ester Mountains on Sunday, but with 0 to 10 degree weather and high winds forcast, as well as my conditioning being suspect, we decided to keep out of the wind and climbed Nye and Street instead. My conditioning was more than suspect -- getting those crippling charliehorses in the quads 4 miles out in the middle of nowhere is almost as disconcerting as stepping through the ice.
With no tv, did not see the race at Datona, but watched a bit of season two of Deadwood on DVD's. Deadwood is really a good series if you haven't seen it.
My car (not the S) is starting to rust through from all the salt.
