same thing... long story.

first time took it in because of oil in spark plug bay. replaced gaskets with ones i supplied form advance auto.

started to get small oil leak and still a slight amount of oil in the same plug bay (probably about a 1/16th of an inch as opposed to the 2 inches before of oil)

took it back in. noticed that new gasket was pretty hard compared to oe and it was leaking in several spots randomly... cleaned it off... but stretched it out. so I okay'd buying a new OE gasket. all went well until i get home to check to see how things held up... not well.

looks like an oil bomb went off ont he right side of my engine bay... and the spark plug bay that had oil in it is now worse than ever. Took it back in and dropped it off. They will work on it tomorrow. Odds are is that they will fix it no charge... as i'm a pretty loyal customer and they don't ef over their customers.

Ick...at least the shop is going to take care of your vehicle. Nice to see a place that'll stand by their work like that.

Slow day in here. Does everyone but me have the day off or something?

Which ones are those?

I've been toying with the idea of new wheels for the S...but I've also been thinking about going with a two-tone powdercoat on some AP2V2s...if I can pick up a set for a decent price.

Those are OZ Racing Ultraleggeras. Unfortunately... they are 18". but they are 18X8 and 18X9 and come with NittoR555 all around (225 up front 255 in rear)

I was 100% against 18" before... but these don't look too bad... they aren't the "hella flush/hella gay" 18".

and they would only be for a year or two.. and i can get them at a good price.

Hmmm...that's the first set of 18s I've seen on an S that didn't make it look like an abomination.

I like the design, but I think I'll stick to 17s.
