EDIT: The BMW's in BTCC are mostly the lower powered diesel or gasoline versions with smaller engines. The only advantage they possess is RWD which in turn is negated by all the weight they carry.

BTW Kia Forte Koup finished on the Podium at the Grand-Am Continental Race in Daytona.
Most interesting, it was a great race!

WTF? When was that on?
And you forgot to tell me?
I need you help, I want to watch this series this year
On da podium, dat's good

Yea, those are the numbers I'm looking for...

The 370Z uses a V6 displacing 3.7-liter -- delivering 332 horsepower and 26 mpg on the highway.

Maybe we need to have our own racing schedule thread. Perhaps we can use the one from ARD if they a 2011 Racing schedule ready to go.

That said, here is info about the series:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contine..._Car_Challenge

The series uses two classes in each race:

The Grand Sport (GS) class features large-displacement 6-cylinder or 8-cylinder sports cars as well as small displacement 4-cylinder forced induction sports cars.
The Street Tuner (ST) class is for smaller 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder compact sedans, coupes, or roadsters.
All vehicles have fewer modifications than most series, using a "showroom stock" format.

Here is a link to the 10-race schedule.
http://blog.roadandtrack.com/grand-am-anno...allenge-season/

However, you must note that they never broadcast the race live as it happens on a Grand-Am weekend. They usually show the race the following weekend on Speed TV. Not all races in a season have TV coverage. They skip 2-3 races.

I still kinda want to keep ARD over in ARD, but that's just me
I'm thinking you should send me email reminders

The internal baffle is really to block out any water that may accumulate internally of the stock airbox. Its actually overengineered.

The baffle can be removed if your chances of having water poured into the bay are low, infact having the baffle reduced by 50-60% helps with the breathing and "exposure" your cone filter, as opposed to having both the L-bend and intake baffle.

Maybe it's time for a little winter mod...
