Ebay + Buyer =

There is an item I want, sever selllers have it available
Seller 1- item is $34.86 Buy it Now + $28.50 shipping = $63.36
Seller 2- item is on bid + $23.27 shipping

If you do the math you can see if I bid more than $40.10 to seller 2, the total with shipping will come up to be more than the seller 1 price which is fixed

So I bid against one other person and make sure my highest bid is $40 because why should I pay more to Seller 1 when I can get the item from Seller 2

I just lost the item, the tard I was bidding against has a $42 bid in, so he is already up to $64.27, he is so hell bent on winning the bid he is actually paying more than he needs to. And thanks to me, he started the day with him winning the item for $22, and I have driven him up to $42 today.

Idiot
I see that all the time. You would think that somebody smart enough to get on ebay and make a bid would be savy enough to spend a little time searching.

My favorite story was when I was looking at race seats on ebay. I found one I liked, sent the seller a question about dimensions. While waiting, I googled the seat looking for dimensions and found several vendors selling the seat cheaper than the seller on ebay. Replied to the seller that I found the dimensions and by the way, wouldn't be bidding on it because I found it cheaper. He replied that he sells the seats cheaper in his store, but jacks the price up on ebay because idiots will buy it anyway. Sure enough 2 buyers bid against each other and bought the seat for close to $100 more than if they had purcheased it at the vendor I found!

[QUOTE]Two years in a row Albany has held a drive March 26/27. I don't think that's unreasonable to plan on again

Gilly, are you willing to put me up? I promise not to bring Disgruntled. I'll sleep on the floor.

From what I remember about the streets down near the inner harbor, that should be a pretty interesting race course.

Morning all

A seasonable -7 here this AM.

Jeff - drive in Litchfield county would be great. As both Levi and I are aware your on-the-fly drives are a lot of fun. The very first Drive for Levi was a lot of fun for that reason only. Also we only had 3 cars which made it easy
