the volt is not a true elctric car... it is a PHEV... plug-in hybrid... it still has a very small ICE if i remember correctly...

well...i was implying that it may help with the heating as well or at least charge the battery for it to power an electrical heatin coil..
also... jsut because something runs on electricity doesn't mean it doesn't generate heat... i'm sure the electric motor still gets very hot
