I will never buy a set of Bridgestones ever again for a car.
For my money they are way over priced and the performance per dollar ratio is very, very low.

I will never buy a set of Bridgestones ever again either. After watching my rear RE-01R fail catastrophically, followed by NH Mark's just a few weeks later, I will not own a set ever again once this set on the S is kaput.
You go Marc!

Just as some people will never run Michelin's ever again.

^ Nice pic Doug.

But as you know Bridgestone had knowledge of the track and asphalt owing to IRL and hence was able to build tires that would handle it. Michelin did not have this data and the FIA (Max Mosley and his crew) refused Michelin permission to fly in replacement tires for the race. Hence the fiasco that was the 2005 United States Grand Prix. But it is easy to see how Michelin emerged as the villain in the picture.

I think that picture is posted in the wrong thread!

Aashish, look at the March 17th post in "How to Pass Lime Rock Sound Limit for HDPE" on the New England site. It is a copy of an e-mail from Skip Barber dealing with the Lime Rock sound limitations.

If a Museum trip is planned on 5/7 again, I am rescinding offer of one of my free passes... I will need one on 5/7 since my membership expires 3/31 and I can not afford to renew

I have a horrible memory but that USGP is one I remember well, especially how disappointing and sad it was when all those teams pulled off track after the first lap

Given the fact that I've heard good things about the Star Specs that are sitting in my living
room, I hope they are as good as the reviews and they will be my tire of choice.

If not, I'll try something else next year.

It is called the lake & "museum" tour you know

It seemed like a worthwhile trip to do on 5/7 as that is the day they start showing the Forza Italia exhibit. Currently they have Right Coast Hot Rods on display.
