I'm still confused by subframe change...
i HAD to get a new subframe haha

the mounting point of the passanger upper arm was FUBAR'd. it was cheaper to get a new subframe than to get it fixed I got AP2 because A) it was available and B) i feel that it will ride a little better for my tastes.

Jeff,

Between the cage and that rear wing(I am guessing) this means we will see you at the glen?

Right?

1- still confuses me
2- not sure why needed
3- i happen to think a good idea as long as not a Spoon one
4- i did not realize out car has bump steer, as in front or back
5- this will make the car way faster
6- is this a cosmetic thing only. see number 5 above
7- see number 5 above
8- see number 5 above
9- lightweight flywheel is always nice, OEM clutch is amazingly great, I'll use OEM parts when mine finally gets changed
10- good luck with setup, can be a bitchh, can setback the handling of the car big time if not done right

There, I got them all this time
1 see previous post
2. any people have praised adding collars to the diff mount see review here:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry18646764
3. got muz style
4. lowered ap1's have bad rear bumpsteer, the front rods have awkward angles when lowered as well
5. not intened to go faster, i'm getting a repowder coat on valve cover so i wanted something simple and clean looking.. this you cannot see the bolt (snap in type version) and has no logo, it is plain powdercoated black
6. yeah pretty much cosmetic, but also intended to help separate the blow by from pcv during turns on the track when i track the car next summer
7. can 5 be below number 7 or 6 in a list? but yes, it is strictly for looks this one. as i'm still going to bring my car to car shows
8. ditto need new powedercoating because the stock is flaking off and looks like crap... see number 7.... above... number 8
9. I strongly considered OEM parts except the flywheel. but i HATE my mom's "squishy" clutch in her gts spyder eclipse, so i wanted something other than stock
10. I have my shop set it up, also have advice from previous people about their setups but will depend on some other things... but will help with a starting point.

BTW, back in the early '80's when I lived in NYC, I saw one in GOLD in Chinatown, and I don't mean painted gold, I mean gold as in gold plated, it was awersome.

more on the coilovers.

obviously my setup will not be the same as others for many reasons...

1. Wheels/tires different
2. Driving style different
3. Driving SKILL different (mine is obviously lower haha)
4. other modifications to car different
5. all other things that Doug will add hehe
