1. New - only unread PMs will display here
2. My Conversations - all the conversations you have read and deleted
3. Drafts - drafts you want to save
Right below those you have EDIT & ADD buttons.
EDIT - if clicked changes the icons next to the folders you have. clicking the icon will delete contents of that folder.
ADD - Click this to add a new folder to your conversation Inbox. You can use it much like Outlook or Lotus Notes or whatever office e-mail system you use.
and you are right. you need to keep the conversation open until you have a response. That could change as we evolve back to a look and feel more resembling the old site in the days to come.
oh! and another thing that I think has improved site performance. Us peons! (unlike CO's) have to now wait 30 SECONDS between posts. Hopefully this is a stop gap measure until the site is back to normal operating speed.
and Jeff you said it very well....practice, practice, practice

Jeff & Doug on the topic of the Rocketman, I was thinking last night (as I have time to think now) what car I would buy of the current lot. Not a single car came to mind in the sub$40K category. I was approaching this entirely from the perspective of how good the car would look as it aged and found there was nothing new I'd buy to keep forever in the aforementioned price category.
Any cars that you can think of? and No, I'm not talking about bass-mouthed 3-door hatches that are not sold here.

I'm not feeling the love for the many, many, many new MINI models coming out
I have always been impressed with the MINI (version one of the so called new mini) performance, but only so so on the design/looks
Now it seems they have drop tops and 4WD and long versions and more, and to me each one gets one step more less attractive
And, believe me, the irony does not escape me, because with my strong desire for a hot hatch, if I liked this body design, it would indeed be an awesome hot hatch...
