It's actually amazing, today I'm hard pressed to even know I had surgery on Monday
I have about 99% of my movement back, the only time I feel pain is when I make a really firm fist or push my fingers back to where they won't go any farther, heck, I was even able to lift the big jug of cat food this morning. I think though the part that will take the longest to recover fully is the twisting thing, I still can't handle a door knob if it is stiff.

i'm glad to hear all of this doug... i've been away so long, I didn't even know you had surgery until after and someone said that you were fine haha.

so i got my final parts for the car yesterday.
valve spring retainers (not pictured) from an AP2 from HTG
catch can/coolant overflow tank combo
modifry camera mount (actually, i've had this for a week or two now but just taking a pic of it)
hidden bolt spark plug cover
tomorrow i get to drop the car off... and saturday i rent a uhaul to bring all the parts to the shop very excited... as this stuff is BEGGING me to do something with it.. every night i look at the pile and i'm just drooling and walking over to it to look at it all.

the nice thing about the catch can/coolant combo is that extra bracket you see... its for the cruise control module... this was the main reason i went with this model because i use cruise ALL the time on my long trips

ignore the head phones... i was showing someone my sony noise canceling in-ear headphones and it was easiest to just post them there
the lighting in my apartment sucks.. all CFF's and my gf's camera does NOT like them haha flash makes things too weird looking... no flash makes them all yellow

For Ellen, Doug and the cat lovers.
This is Thelma
We are going to meet her this afternoon, and hopefully she will like us and we can adopt her.
We were this week as we had to put our 14 year old kitty to sleep.
We have had cat(s) in our home for 20+ years, and to us, a house is not a home without a cat.
We opened the paper the day after we lost our kitty and there was a picture of a cat needing a home. That's all we needed to see. I started contacting the shelters.

Morning Upstate!
The forum seems to finally be running at a decent pace again.
Doug, glad the surgery went well and your recovery is going smoothly.
Now where is the top down weather?!?

I'm sure this will get Doug's heart racing

I love that they put a classic skin onto modern running gear. To me it is so simple and gorgeous and just the right combination of cool/retro/sleeper. Too bad it is almost $200k
