There are still independents willing to work on these. Parts are getting sketchy for pre 85 bikes, but used stuff is plentiful.
As an owner, oil and filters should be simple.
I'd love to help you out and good excuse to come on by with your bike.
I'll put the dogs inside.

EDIT: BTW, I was looking on Honda's website and they no longer appear to be selling the Nighthawk. I wonder why?

I'm giving my old GSXR LTD to Nick when he gets back from Afganastan as a present for his duty and sacrifice.
He'll have to finish it.

G'morning all.
With all the hype around the "storm" coming, you'd think the town would have been smart enough to put plows on the road.
More than half of my drive in this morning was on roads that had not seen any plowing or salting yet.

It needs to have the new mid sections of the fairing painted.
I bought new parts many moons ago (tank and all bodywork). The only parts that didn't come painted are the mids. Bought the oem stickers, etc... Just newer finished.
6k miles total. I bought it in 1992 from a kid who drove it into ditch. It's now absolutely showroom perfect. It probably belongs in a museum as this bike was one of 150 made so the race parts (most specifically the dry clutch) would be homologated for AMA superbike.

I'm lucky that there are some good knowledgeable people here that could check things out for me in the Rochester area. My co-worker who also is an instructor for the MSF course offered to check out bikes with me here locally too.
