At 1998 posts, I'd just call it a constant state of readiness so as not go into chat-stall...

Mark- The system was really impressive, the sled, not sure what to call it really, was tubular steel, about 3' wide, and super long, think long enough to swallow up a big Harley. In the center of the sled that ran the full length was a wooden u-shape that swallowed up the tires and then the front was sort of like our wheel chock. The sled was all equipped with permanent ratchet straps so once the bike was in the wooden u-shape tieing it down took seconds. Then with a long prybar he lifted the sled a few inches and rollers popped down, and then the bike was basically up on a dolly. Push the dolly to the elevator, run it off into the bed, pry it up and fold in the rollers, flip up a couple arms, tie the arms to the side of the trailer. Done. Very impressive, and totally safe looking. Price was just over $600, NY to TX, 10-14 day service.
