The truth about Doug's hood
Okay, I can't hold this in anymore, I have to let everyone know the truth about Doug's hood.
The stories of the dents in his hood caused by passing motorcycles...complete .
He asked me to photoshop something on his car for him over the winter, something that will make this car "his", something unique and eye catching.
Well after going back and forth, THIS is what he said he JUST HAD TO HAVE!
So his car is getting the flaming H detailed onto the hood. He was going to put it on the trunk too, but thankfully I talked him out of that one. Cost me many a beer though ....I just did not have enough beer to change his mind about the hood.....
Sorry, Doug - I could not decieve the Upstaters any longer by holding this terrible fact inside any longer ...

I knew I could not trust the Dark Leader to keep a secret...
Alright, I confess. I have always loved the look of the old Firebird with that big huge chicken hawk or what ever it was on the hood. I figured the flaming Honda badge would look really cool. I found an artist who did up some sketches and they really are cool. The body shop was picked because the paint guy is a master with an airbrush.

Now, because I'm coming clean here, I guess now would be a good time to mention that my dear friend Marco actually owned a Trans Am...
I still think this is cool.
My flaming H badge will be way cooler...

Love the Hood! I knew you were up to something. Glad to see you're pullin gback to your roots and the whole trans am thing....now be honest, that trans am was really yours....wasn't it!
Ok I can't lie, I always wanted one...then again, I never actually OWNED one

I too used to own one of those thunderchicken cars..bought a new 77 T/A. It was black with the gold trim/ like the Smokie and the Bandit car. Was a 4 speed, am/fm, and had a cb radio! Kept it for 7 yrs and sold it in 84 with about 42k miles. Only problem was I had to replace the starter twice.
