I used the left over for the clutch.

I should have payment from Chrisaltima tomorrow AM. As soon as I get that, I am going to go to the bank and get the check made out to SCDA and send it off to them this weekend.

Chris - Call the Budget Inn at Watkins Glen. That is where we are staying.

9 S2000's (including Greg's) for this event. Ian was saying he'd never had that many S2000's at an event before

There could be other S2000's too - people that are not on here. Will have to see if we are the largest group of a single model car at that event.

Brian (BM612) - see if you can get there early on the 8th before the day ends and see about going out on a ride with one of the instructors. Ian said they may have a track walk for us at the end of day one.

Track Time Photos will also be covering this event. So look for your pics on their site post-event.

I feel that I owe everyone an apology, as I told A2 that I regretful had to cancel myself from this event. The remaining work on my car has taken me longer than expected and it's just not going well. I find myself starting to hate my project while rushing to get things done in time rather than enjoying it like I should and have been doing. Just not enough available days for me coming up in order to get what I need to get done right. I would hate to put anyone at risk on the track especially an instructor whose taking the time out to teach others!

I really hated to back out and I feel awful for doing so. My apologizes to everyone who is attending and again to you A2.

Mike - You have nothing to apologize for. For sure we will miss having you there. Our strength (in numbers) will be lower but we will have fun.

I can empathize with your situation. I did send Ian an email. Figured it was best to get it out of the way. I will paypal your money back to you tomorrow.

Everyone else, please note. I will be making the check out on Saturday and mailing it to Ian. After that point, any cancellations ( we have no more) will have to be made by contacting SCDA. Please review SCDA's cancellation policy on their website as that will apply to you.

I would also like all of you to know that Mike (who was among the first to pay), offered for me to use that money towards any member that wanted to go on track but could not afford it. I did not think it was right for me to judge who is needful (since it was not my money) and therefore will be returning the money to Mike. For all we know he probably needs it and more for the issues with building his race car. Good luck Mike and don't be a stranger here. Just because you are not attending does not mean you can't participate in the fun.

SCDA CANCELLATION POLICY

All SCDA events are offered on a first come, first served basis. Our events run rain or shine. There will be a $25 processing fee for any entry that is refunded. Cancellations within two weeks of the event date forfeit half the total amount. No shows on the day of the event, as well as cancellations within one week of the event date forfeit the total amount. No refunds will be issued, and events are not transferable.

Will miss you not being there Mike. Sorry to hear the work on the S isn't going as you would like.

Aashish, in regards to Mike's offer, YGPM.
