you can post here. The other thread you started is commercial and promoting your business and not really relevant to the community here. Good luck with the event. Is this only for S2000s or is this open to all other makes of cars too?

Below are the details
Drivers Republic will have its first Track Day at NYST on Thursday, June 2nd.
It will be an open track day. However, passing is point-by only. Also, it is an open track day; only Advanced and Intermediate entries are allowed.
The cost for the event is $295/car, and we are capping entries to only 25 cars. This will give everyone unlimited track time throughout the day!
To register, use the link below:

Refunds: DriversRepublic is not making any profit out of this event. This means the refund is possible in 2 ways:
1. We sell your spot to someone on the Waitlist and refund you the money
2. You sell your spot to someone you know and we replace you on the confirmed list
Note: If you are an Instructor with NYST experience, please PM for a discount rate

After much hand holding and supervision from Aashish, son-in-law Chris and I managed to sign up for Lime Rock on June 8 - novice and advanced. Hope we don't hurt ourselves!

Got the race car started and timed. I hope that new points will cure my misfire.
Went to change the oil but ran into a pretty big problem. The fixture that the oil filter threads onto is buggered. Think I have it solved - at least temporarily.
