Default Today 11/18... Last drive for me before pickling

The cars are getting a last drive today. I have to take advantage of this weather. I'll take some Stabil with me to the gas station to top them off before coming home.
I think both are getting a lap around Cayuga Lake.
AM P-car.
PM S-car (should be a bunch warmer for a PM drive) Top down!!!!
I'll wash them in the driveway this weekend.... as that hurts a lot more than driving. I don't look forward to cleaning at all as it will hurt my neck/arm.
The pleasure of the drive will outweigh the pain of the maintenance.

Enjoy the day Jeff! Going to be doing the same here. Only 27 degrees this morning I might even dig out my winter coat!

Enjoy your day is right, and I agree, it's almost the end of the decent temps

They are saying nice weekend weather after the rain on Thursday

For me the road salt forced me off the road early with a few close early freak snow accumulations

And one thing for sure, I just hate doing the final car wash and prep when it is down in the 30's - 40's, that's just no fun at all...

I put mine away 3 weeks ago to avoid the dreaded final cleaning in cold temps. Last year I kept her out until first week of December and froze my ass off giving her the good cleaning she deserves.

Got in 10k this year and 2 trips to the Dragon. I'm happy!

^ 100% Serious i dont wash it i park it and than clean it in the spring.

Ask Aashish and Ellen how good the paint looks.

the mistake is cleaning it when its cold IMHO if its parked and you have good wax on it than it wont hurt it a bit. Its mostly dust anyhow.

^ does that look abused?

My covercraft should be here tomorrow, according to UPS. so I am getting close, as well. She'll come out Dec 5 for our Toys for Tots run if the weather is nice enough, and then back to sleep.

I'm with Zip on this one - if it ain't salt, it ain't likely to get wahed off before spring at this point. Of course once I get the HT on, and adjusted, it is possible to run it through a touchless carwash without issue - used to do that in the Ohio winters when she was my DD.

And I do intend to get it out, some, on nice days - just not a lot of them between now and April for us.
