My only thought is I don't want to get into an overly organized event and be put on a specific schedule if that is indeed what it is
I just want our V&V to be a nice relaxing day where we can spend as much or as little time at anyplace we want

I've been to events like this before. You can go to as many of the wineries on the list in whatever order you like. You just have to pick your starting winery.
Considering the ticket is $18 for 8 wineries, assuming you went to all 8 (doubtful) that is $2.50 per tasting plus food. Not a bad deal.
EDIT: saw they have an email address for contact purposes. I'll email them and confirm this is the case.

Do we need to sign up on the web site or what?
Do we get a pass or something?
Do we have to start at Heron Hill or can we just get there when we get there?
So as I see it this will only apply to these 4 - Hunt, Stever, Dr. Frnak, Heron, right?
Would we be Weekend Ticket Designated Driver for $13?
Or do we add in Barrington Celars and Keuka Springs?
The other two are too far to the south on the east side as far as I'm concerned
We could maybe not do Bully?

2-days is all
Day one for the surgery
Day two to sit home on the sofa
I'll be back to work on Thursday, surgery is Tuesday
This is only my left hand, I did the same schedule last year, and it was my right hand, I'm right handed so it was the bigger one
I'm not sure people realize just how minor Carpal Tunnel surgery is

That was quick, here is the response:
Hi Marc! You got it, no schedules! That would be no fun

Yes, if you want to do the wine & cheese event. We won't force anyone to do it, and I'm sure you can do regular tastings at these places if you are not a wine & cheese fan
Yes, possibly one that is printable, or (more likely) they have your name at the starting winery where you pick up your ticket on the day of the event, which is why you have to pick your starting winery
For the wine & cheese places, yes you have to start at heron hill (if that is where we decide to start). We don't have to start the day there however, we can start at KLV and then go to Heron Hill
It would apply to those 4, plus 4 more: Keuka Springs, Barrington, McGregor, and Ravines. We don't HAVE to hit all 8, but the pass is valid to all of those.
The driver ticket is only for those who are not drinking
If the schedule allows
I have no problem skipping Bully Hill - there is a local place that sells their Meat Market Red, so I am happy
