I know we are a week away, but just thought I'd ask everyone to ensure their car is prepped before coming on the drive. Please bring radios for we will need them with the large group we have.
For everyone that is heading up from the Albany area, I propose that we meet at the Clifton Park rest area on the Northway (I-87) the same as last time. This rest area is between exits 9 and 10 as you are heading north on I-87. We should plan to leave there by 8:45 AM to reach the Exit 28 destination by around 10 AM. This will give us time to fill up on gas and use the bathroom if need be.

At the diner in Keene Valley with my dad (NNYS2Ki) and lurchenstien getting some lunch. We are in the middle of driving the route for tomorrow. So far so good, no construction or any other hazards on our route. Gonna be an awesome time, these roads are fantastic! I'm sure my dad will give you all an update when we get home.
Btw,we left the S2000 at home so it can stay clean, took my Subaru for the scout mission :-)

Off topic sort of but -- does anyone want a free digital camera? Kodak EasyShare C530 - very compact, great for travel. 5 megapixel, has a 512 MB card in it, more than enough if you pull photos off and onto your computer after events.
I am bringing with me tomorrow. Was donated to the humane society awhile ago and I gave them a better one, but no one really uses it because everyone has phones that take pics now

Home from the scouting mission, Jeff has set up a good route. For the most part we'll try run it as Jeff posted with a few minor changes. A great addition is Hurricane road this year....it shouldn't disappoint. See you all in the morning, the S is all flossed and ready to roll. Be sure to top off your tanks as close to the start, Jeff's route dosn't seem to pass too many gas stations
