It would be a perfect time for you to meet other owners in the area.

We'll try to stay off the dirt roads for you, now I wish the bugs were gone.

Wash car, check.
Charge radio, check.
Mow short dead grass, and the taller weeds for the first time in 5weeks, check.
Clean out trunk and pack a few tools, check.

To do:
Check tire pressures,
Vacuum out,
Drive a bunch up Naarthhhhhh.
Smile and laugh a lot.

I washed my car and detailed the interior last week...

...Then I took it to the BMW Club "rally cross" on Saturday. Was supposed to be an autocross, but the pavement had a 1/4" layer of gravel and dirt on it.

Just saw that the Lake Placid Ironman is on Sunday. Expect a lot of the competitors to be out there on the streets practicing for the event. Also expect a lot more traffic than normal. Hopefully our route bypasses the sections that will be used for the Ironman event

^^^Usually the day before the race the participants rest. But the traffic may be a little heavy with spectators coming for the event....anyhow most of our drive shouldn't be a conflict.

I think this is the best drive of the year. Had a ton of fun in 2011. Wouldn't like living so far north but love ripping through it for a day, haha. I have parts on order that should be arriving Friday. Just in time to install for this!

Alas, an unexpected death in the family forces me to pull out of the drive on Saturday.

Levi will lead. Aashish will support.
