As promised here is the thread for the Rte. 2 drive. Im thinking August 7th will be a nice day to do this. This gives us ample time to schedule one more drive before Knapp and perhaps yet another in the Fall after Fall Crawl.

The reason I picked this spot is:
A) We will have some folks that will be driving a long distance for the drive and this offers them a chance to get a snack and get fueled for the drive.
B) It is located right next to a Mobil gas station, so all those that need to fill up on gas, get a chance to do so.
HOW TO GET TO McDONALDS:
If you are coming on 90 West, it will be Exit 9 I think. It will say Rte.4/Troy Road. Once you take the exit Turn Right and Mc Donalds will be on your right in around 0.7 miles.
(FOR PEOPLE COMING ON 90 EAST, AFTER YOU CROSS THE HUDSON)
Take the Exit for Rte. 43. As you are coming on Rte. 43 it will intersect with Rte. 4. Turn right on Rte. 4 and McDonalds will be on your left in about 0.7 miles.
The Location that says "B" on the map is where the McDonalds is located. Notice how it has two ways of getting there. You can always call me if you need directions.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The drive will start promptly at 10:30. Please ensure you are there ahead of time. If running a few minutes late, please call to let me know you will be attending. I will not hold up the drive for any longer than 10 minutes for anyone running late. Start well ahead of time and get to the meet up spot in a relaxed manner.
- We will have a late lunch, so please ensure you've had a good breakfast. You can always come ahead of time and get breakfast at McDonalds if need be.
- This is not a race or a time trial event. Several of the sections (even the fun sections) run through some residential areas and we will adhere to the speed limit.
- Please ensure your tires have enough tread on them. I dont want you losing traction on any of the hilly sections.
- Please dont crowd the car in front of you or pass in any section where passing is not allowed. If you feel the person ahead is impeding you, let me know and I can re-arrange the order of the caravan.
- If you are not driving an S2000, please follow at the rear. There will be no exceptions made. This is an S2000 event and while other cars are welcome, they must respect the rule and follow at the rear.
- Civic Si camera car. If Brian shows he will be bringing up the rear. However as he may help us document the drive, I may send him ahead of us so he can capture footage.
THE AGENDA WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Meet at the McDonalds location and begin drive at 10:30 AM
2. Our next stop (after a 2 hour drive) will be the Hemmings Motor Museum in Bennington, VT. They have a cafeteria and other facilities we will need to use.
3. We will stop for lunch at the '6 House Pub in Williamstown, MA. I expect that this stop will be around 2:00 PM
4. Back to the Meetup point. This should take us about an hour. If we leave the 6 House pub at 3:00 PM, we should be done with driving by 4:00 PM. If everyone is game, maybe we can stop somewhere for icecream after the drive.
