UPDATE:
Wolffs Biergarten at 10:30- Please note, parking is on the street. DO NOT park in reserved spots or you will be towed. Since it is Saturday, street parking will be free. Just find a spot and come in to the Biergarten.
- If you have plans of eating lunch at the Pump Station, you may just want to stick with a glass of beer and a light snack. So unless you have a ravenous appetite save the food for later when we get to the Pump Station.
- I do not expect everyone to show up here but I have not been there in a while and thought it'd be nice to catch up with some people over a brew before we head over to the other places.
Albany Distilling and Pump Station:
- These facilities are close to each other.
- I want us to get to the Distillery by Noon when they open. I have a call in to them to see if they can open a tad early for us. Will keep you posted.
- Tasting and Tour at the distilery is $5 per head and should take 30-45 minutes. If we have a group of more than 20, they are willing to let the whole group in for $100. They have a couple of their whiskies available for tasting and sale.
- There are some reserved spots for the Pump Station, and then there is public parking. Verified with the Distillery guys. Parking is free on saturday. If you can't find a spot that is reserved for the pump station or the distillery, you can park on the street or in the public lot adjacent to the building.
- I have a reservation for S2000 International for 25-27 people at the Pump Station. They said they could not accomodate us in the upstairs area, but will have a table large enough for us in the dining area. If you are coming straight there, you could grab a beer at the bar and head over to the table that is reserved for us.
-Also NOTE, because of the size of the group, if Pump Station will not do separate checks, then we will just divide the total up by the number of people attending. It just makes it more convenient versus having to figure out who ate what and how much tax to apply. I trust that this will be OK with all of you. Please bring cash.
I was PM'd by someone asking that we not do an equal divide of the total. Therefore please keep track of what you order lest the restaurant is unable to do separate checks. Thank you
Saratoga Automobile Museum: There is no planned excursion to the museum after lunch. Headchef is planning a drive for 4/27 so we can see the Supercar exhibit. I do not want to upstage his plans by suggesting we drive from here to the museum. I recommend that we wait until the day of the drive. It will be more fun in the S2000 than in our winter rats.
