S2000 is still popular
I went to a cruise-in last week for the first time since my street rodding days. I was asked to bring my s2000, and was amazed at how popular the car was. With all the different cars that were there, the S2000 still draws a crowed. In fact, the car even got a trophy. So now I have a trophy winner, and all I had to do is drive a clean and Zaino polished spa yellow S2000.
While I was there a black S2000 drove by. Its the first one I've seen around Oneonta. I'd like to know who it was.

Ain't it grand!
I took mine to the BMW CCA Concours event last year, I won the trophy for Car I Would Most Like To Steal and came away with a nice bottle of champagne.
And Steve, I suspect it is the Spa that makes it a winner....

Your right, having a spa yellow S2000 makes a difference. I have people make comments about the color all the time.
At the cruise-in I was surprised at how many people were really interested in the car. This was coming from people who know cars. After I had been there a while, I was asked to open the hood so they could see the engine. I don't think I use to get that much attention when built a car from the ground up. Besides the being really good looking, I think not having a lot of S2000s around helps in its popularity.
