Hi Levi, I think up your way is where I have seen other signs like that. Sorry you missed lunch Hope you can make it to the April 5 museum meet!

Also there was talk about maybe trying some go karting - are you and Aric interested in that sometime???

Possibly, I havn't driven a go-cart since....well, a long time ago when a cousin of mine used to race them. I know I wasn't old enough to drive cars yet. Aric used to go with some of his friends, I'll be on the lookout for anything that should come up about this.

Been running my S2000 no front plate since I bought it in the end of October. I got pulled over once for it so far, but they let me off with a warning. Would probably have to get the same police officer a couple times to get a ticket. If you do get a ticket you should be able to show up within 24 hours usually with the front plate attached and have the ticket dismissed. As far as I know you can keep doing this if you are pulled over and not have to pay the ticket.
I also ran no front plate on my Eclipse GST which was loud as all hell and got pulled over a few times but never for a front plate, even when they were trying to screw me over with as many things as possible.

No front plate FTW.

Has anyone from NY state passed NY state inspection without their plate? I wonder if that's part of the inspection process?

I bet it depends on the place inspecting your vehicle. Some places might pass you if you just put the plate on your front seat where they can see it and know you have it, others might stick to the rules closer, I'm sure it's law that a car MUST have both plates to be inspect-able.

Here in VT I have always gotten free inspections from the selling dealer, however every June I have to pop out my bumper plugs and put on the front plate for the day

I have a shiny rear plate cover as well now but it does not obscure the registration sticker so hopefully I will not have to mess with that for the inspection.
