Default Running no plate in the front - NY

Our cars looks so much better without the front plate. From the posted photos I've noticed a few NYer's run their car without the front plate.
Question: If you do not use your front plate Have you ever had a problem with "the man"? Getting pulled over, ticket.............

Nope.

Haven't run a front plate on my "summer" cars for 22 years.

'course, I usually don't give them a reason to pull me over.

at the same time, i know a lot of people get away with it

I've got pulled over once and got off with a warning. I had the plate with me behind the seat. I gave him the old "my front bracket broke off because I parked too close to the curb". I think it's a $35-50 fine if they want to give you one.

Get some bumper plugs and take it off

I bought it from someone else a while back on a group buy, but this is the only place I see that stocks them.
