Proposed events for this year
I guess I'll get this started. Lets begin posting some proposed events for us all to attend this year, and eventually we will begin a sticky on them.......
Watkins Glen track day: May 5-6, 2003
Carlisle Car Jam: May 2-4, 2003
Wednesday nights at the log cabin in macedon
Obviously some overlap, so we won't be going to everyone, but here are some suggestions for meets.
Post your idea's, lets make this a big year for us!!

The log cabin is a restaurant in Macedon NY. They have a car show there every Wednesday night in the summer.
Very large turnout, on average 450-700 cars. It is not specific to one type of car, you get everything from classics to old muscle cars to kids hooking up there civics and sunfires.
It is a great time for any car enthusiast.

My thoughts:
- a long drive someplace in the spring, maybe a stay over at a hotel on Saturday and return home Sunday, maybe go down to the car museum in Norwich
- a long drive someplace in the summer
- another fall wine tour and romp through the old grand prix course
- lots of casual get togethers in the evenings, small groups, people getting together with who ever lives close to you, say ice cream....
- someone other than me going to Canada for the Salamander and the Moose

The car museum in Norwich will have, starting in May, a small car exhibit in building #3. That might be of interest to S2000 people. If there is any interest I can set it up. www.classiccarmuseum.org There are also a lot of great scenic roads in our state for great weekend rides. That also would be great.
