Are you ready for some football???

It's finally back! Week 1 is almost complete.

What is your favorite team? Are you happy with how things went yesterday?

As you probably can tell from my avatar, I'm a Patriots fan, not very popular in here but oh well.

UGLY win yesterday! But a win is a win and now onto Thursday night and the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS...and I will be there!

Will be nice to beat both NY AFC teams in 4 days.

Let's talk some football guys!

The Bills kept the score closer than expected against the Pats sunday but it looks like they are once again in the rebuilding mode.

It's a good distraction.
Land acquisition contests are a metaphor for nuclear war.
I like the idea of watching a sport where the emphasis is knocking someone down. America. F-yeah, until the pansy panty-waists try to legislate it so everyone gets a trophy powderpuff sissified weenie fest.

Sorry about that. I know there are some football fans here and thought it would we an interesting thread for some.

I can close the thread if necessary, I don't want to cause an issue here.

^ no issues. Keep the thread open. You have as much right to start a thread here as any other.

Now a cricket or F1 thread, no one would care about I'm sure

There is only one team in the AFC (or the entire NFL for that matter) that plays in NY. There are a couple of Jersey teams masquerading as NY teams though...

That is true, those other 2 teams should have New Jersey names.

Go Jersey !

If the Giants didn't turn the ball over like 7 times, they had a chance.
Fumblin, bumblin, stumblin...

Weird start for a lot of teams. The games I saw this weekend and into late last night were really interesting.
