Just passing through....

At the state park:

Heading home tomorrow. Enjoyed our stay in the area. Great scenery, local beer for Rick, lots of ops for me. A very tasty lunch in Hammondsport today, a few good dinners in Corning. Went to Ithaca area yesterday, hit the state park there, enjoyed lunch at the Ithaca Ale House,(GREAT burger) stopped at the gardens at Cornell University.

How to cool off in the finger Lakes area of New York!

The gardens at Cornell were right outside my office... and I bet you drove past my house on your way home.
Nice this time of year, but get your plow on in the winter as we're at 1300 ft in snow band country.

Jeff, I don't think I'd want to live there in the winter time!

Thanks, Ellen. We sometimes take time off in September, but lately that hasn't happened. Maybe we'll hit the Roadster Tour some day.

Is that what the cause of my creaking is? Does anyone else's car creak, especially when it's been sitting for a few days?

A arm bushings, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, spring perches...
I'd squirt some lube around these and wipe off the excess if it's really bothersome.
