For the kitty lovers, my folks finally sent me a picture of their new cat with the one kitten who survived:

The mother is too young. She doesn't know how to properly care for kittens.

She pretty much abandoned the three. She was away from them for 3 days. Only the largest of the three made it. She still doesn't know how to properly care for this one. My mother has at least been able to get the little one to drink formula from a bowl now.

We've seen that at the shelter too, where mom just ignores the kittens, like WTF are those?! It's sad. But I guess that's natures way of trying to keep the over population in check

Very nice they took her in, especially all black - it is SOOOO hard to adopt out black cats and we have alot right now including my 3 babies.

I have 2 new fosters today - both black! - two different litters again. They are both on medication for the next few days. When the medication is done they are going back to the shelter or to Petsmart.

Until them I will have fun playing with them
